Stanley Joseph of Bridgeport will serve 20 years after Tuesday's agreement.

A woman remains in critical condition at Bridgeport Hospital after injuries sustained in a Feb. 9 blaze on East Main Street. Two city firefighters, who were injured when they entered the building in an attempt to rescue someone who witnesses said was inside, have been treated and released from Bridgeport Hospital.

No one was injured, and firefighters found a resident's cat alive and well after they knocked down a fire Feb. 7 in a three-family home on Linwood Avenue.

Bridgeport officers used their Tasers to subdue a suspect after he refused an order to stop and show his hands following a foot chase from Bridgeport into Fairfield Feb. 3 just after midnight.
