Musician to release new album

Derek Piotr of West Redding is a local sound artist releasing new projects this spring.

He is set to release an extended play album in collaboration with countertenor Mikah Meyer, a full-length solo album, and a radio play titled "Radio Mantras."

A Poland-born composer, he focuses on vocal manipulation and electroacoustic composition. He has had work featured on The Wire's Adventures in Modern Music radio program. His website is derekpiotr.com.
