The 3rd Annual Redding Holiday Fair to benefit the town’s Senior Center will be held on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 10 to 3:30 at the Redding Community Center on Lonetown Road. Admission is free.
Artisans, craftsmen and a wide variety of other merchants from area counties will offer everything from handmade fudge, Longaberger gift baskets and Pampered Chef kitchen tools, to pewter and other holiday decorations, decorative glassware and presents for everyone in the family. These include jewelry and other wearable art, beaded scarves and shawls, handbags and belts, soaps and candles, children’s toys and gifts, cosmetics and even accessories for dogs.
West Haven artist Ellen Hoverkamp will also be featured at the fair with her “scanner photography” garden images, a press release said.
Among the fun and functional services available will be massage, intuitive tarot readings, nutritional cleansing consultation and home organization. There will also be a merchants’ raffle and bake sale with all proceeds going toward programming for the Senior Center at the Redding Community Center.
