Interfaith service set at Christ Church Nov. 25

Christ Church (Episcopal) will host this year’s Interfaith Thanksgiving Service on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 7 p.m. Nancy L. Carrington, executive director of the Connecticut Food Bank will be the guest preacher.

The Connecticut Food Bank distributes 35 tons of food every business day. Ms. Carrington was recently honored for her 25 years of service as executive director and as a leading anti-hunger advocate in the state.

Everyone is invited to join us in this service of celebration and to stay and meet Ms. Carrington at the reception immediately following the service. The collection at the service will go to the Connecticut Food Bank.
