First Selectman Natalie Ketcham was on hand at The Olive Market in Georgetown on New Year’s Eve to draw the winning tickets for a raffle held in conjunction with the first-ever Georgetown Holiday Festival on Dec. 6.
The festival featured a parade and activities hosted by merchants in the Georgetown village area. All of the proceeds from the raffle benefit Connecticut Hospice.
Winning the first place prize, a week’s stay for six people at a private hacienda in Uruguay, was Patrick Alarcon of Granite Ridge Road. Winning the second place prize, an original Erin Nazzaro oil painting, was Lesley Miller of Limekiln Road. And the third place prize, a gift basket of goods from local merchants, was won by Debi Dalba of Mountain Laurel Lane.
The winners all received a special phone call Thursday evening from Ms. Ketcham.
