At Heritage Center: Tai Chi, Yogalates are potential new programs

Heritage Center is planning to offer Tai Chi and Yogalates if there is enough interest in the programs. The program would be open to all ages.

Tai Chi is described as “meditation in motion.” It is a centuries-old Chinese discipline used for health, relaxation, meditation and balance. Relaxation and inner calm and strength are emphasized. It is considered a healing exercise.

The center would like to start a class this month and needs a minimum of 10 students to start.

Yogalates is a unique fusion of yoga and pilates for total body fitness. It helps to develop a stronger more flexible body, longer, leaner muscles and toned abs. It improves the strength of the back and the health of the joints. It is for complete beginners or veterans.

The center would like to start a class and needs a minimum of eight students to start.

Call 203-938-9725 if interested in either or both programs.
