Wildlife tracking class is set

New Pond Farm is offering a Wildlife Tracking class on Saturday, Feb. 6, from 9 to noon. Andy Dobos, a primitive skills instructor, will teach the class.

Mr. Dobos runs the Three Red Trees School of Natural Living in Maine, a branch of the Maine Primitive Skills School, and has been practicing primitive skills since 2002.

Class participants will get to know the wildlife by learning the language of the tracks and signs they leave behind.

This program is suited for children 8 and up, accompanied by an adult. The fee is $30/member of New Pond Farm, $35/non-member. Reservations are required. Call the farm, at 101 Marchant Road, at 203-938-2117.
