GOP candidates meet March 13

A Republican Gubernatorial Candidates Forum is scheduled for Saturday, March 13, at Veterans Park Elementary School auditorium, 8 Governor Street, Ridgefield, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Candidates will be available to greet the public at 1:30 and following the event.

Candidates at the forum include Lt. Gov. Mike Fedele, Tom Foley of Greenwich, former U.S. Ambassador to Ireland, Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton, and Oz Griebel of Simsbury, president and CEO of Metro Hartford Alliance, an economic development agency for the region.

The format includes presentations and responses to questions from the moderator.

The Ridgefield Republican Town Committee is sponsoring this venue.
