Garden power tools topic at meeting

The Redding Garden Club will present a free lecture on Sunday March 21, from 3 to 4:30 in the Redding Community Center. Mark Guss, owner of Bethel Power Tools, the guest speaker, will provide an informative discussion on power tools for the home and garden.

Mr. Guss has many years experience with commercial and residential gardening equipment and is a regular lecturer in the Connecticut Extension Service Master Gardener program.

He will give a demonstration on the different types of power tools available and which are suitable for use in the home garden. In addition, Mr. Guss will discuss how to use the tools safely and to care for them properly. Time will be available after the presentation for questions.
