Blacksmith will demonstrate skills at Putnam Park

The Summer Colonial Craftsmen Program demonstrations takes place this weekend at Putnam Memorial State Park and continues each Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 3 through August in front of the Visitor Center.

The schedule is as follows;

July 17 and 18, a blacksmith.

July 24 and 25, a potter and weaver.

July 31 and Aug. 1 — to be announced.

Aug. 7 and 9, soldiering and cannon.

Aug. 14 and 15 — to be announced.

Aug. 21 and 22, life of a soldier and a musket.

Aug. 28 and 29, whitesmith.
