Koleszar’s artwork takes Best in Show

Local artist Richard Koleszar won Best in Show for his entry in the recent Tarrywile Plein Air Event. His winning watercolor is a landscape of the grounds with the mansion peaking through the shrubs.

Mr. Koleszar is a member of Rowayton Art Center, Richter Association for the Arts, Housatonic Valley Cultural Alliance, Easton Arts Council, Fairfield Arts Council and a sustaining member of the American Watercolor Society. Most recent awards include: Award of Excellence from Richter 2010 and First Place Watercolor Rowayton Paint the town 2009. His Web site is rkoleszar.com.
