The Gilbert & Bennett Community Cultural Center is hosting non-stop entertainment on Friday, March 25, at 7 p.m. to introduce the cultural experiences coming to its home at 49 New Street in Wilton.
The entertainment includes:
• Live Music by the Kitchen Sink Band under the direction of the Weston Music Center and School of the Performing Arts. Music lessons will be offered to children and adults.
• A demonstration by the pros from the Fred Astaire Studios in Brookfield, Norwalk and Ridgefield.
• Art creations of Melody Best, Bobbie Eike Mullen, Dara Quinn, Ellen Spadone and Resident Artist, Chris Curnan, will be on display. Art Classes with teachers Eileen Panepinto and Kathy Coe as well as Ms. Mullen, Ms. Best and Ms. Quinn are planned, along with free open studio time.
• A presentation on the Cultural Center’s stage will provide a sample of classes and performances to come.
• The Creative Learning Center is an art-based, dynamic educational program for pre-school children.
• Free refreshments featuring an assortment of tasty treats from the diverse restaurants of Georgetown.
