Sunday, Jan. 29

Hartlines will lead music worship at Long Ridge United Methodist Church at 9:15 a.m. The public is invited to attend. An offering will be taken for the Annual National Souper Bowl of Caring to benefit local food pantries.

Wednesday, Feb. 1

Brown Bag Lunch, join Selectman Julia Pemberton at town hall at noon.

Thursday, Feb. 2

State legislators’ meeting with constituents at town hall hearing room from 7 to 9. State Reps. John Shaban (R-135) and Dan Carter (R-2) will be on hand to talk with constituents who have ideas, questions and concerns about issues related to state government.

Friday, Feb. 3

Lyrics Coffeehouse at 7:30 p.m. at the Redding Community Center featuring Kevin Briody, a singer and songwriter. Snacks and desserts are available and the coffee is free. Admission is $12 at the door or $10 in advance. For seniors and children, there is half-price admission.

Saturday, Feb. 4

Take Your Child to the Library Day starting at 12:30 at the Mark Twain Library. There will be activities throughout the day for children and their parents and special events. Call the library at 203-938-2545 or email Allison@marktwainlibrary to sign up for some or all of these events.
