Yonkers: Finance board

I want to encourage residents of Redding to vote on Nov. 3. My running mate, Peter Bonfanti, and I appreciate the excellent schools, atmosphere and open space that characterizes Redding. We pledge to maintain these cornerstones and hope you will support our candidacy.

We should commend our friends who have comprised the Republican leadership for their past hard work and spirit of volunteerism. But when you vote, please think of the events of the past few years. Their policies took us down the wrong path and we are now playing financial catch-up. This can happen again because their decisions were based upon their political perspective.

Peter and I are thoughtful and accustomed to project management and budgetary discretion. Peter was internationally recognized for his managerial skills at IBM. In my work, I run multi-million dollar projects that must be restrained to projected costs. My research has garnered international recognition and a professorship at one of the finest academic institutions in the country. Neither Peter’s nor my accomplishments were easy. Peter volunteered and worked tirelessly for the Region 9 board. Despite what others have insinuated, he attended 90% of the core meetings. Barlow had difficult times and Peter helped steer the board out of those difficulties. Vote for balance, change and a strong, positive, direction. Caste a single vote for Kim Yonkers to serve a six-year term and Peter Bonfanti to serve a four-year term.
