Harry Carlson, retired well driller

Harry Carlson, 85, a lifelong resident of Georgetown, died on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at Danbury Hospital. Mr. Carlson, 85, was the husband of Mabel (Tanner) Carlson.

He was born on March 11, 1924, a son of the late Hilmer and Rhoda Anderson Carlson. Before his retirement, he had been a self-employed well driller.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two nieces. He was predeceased by his brother, Raymond Carlson.

Services will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 11 a.m. at the graveside in Hillside Cemetery, Wilton.

Friends may call at the Bouton Funeral Home, 31 West Church Street, Georgetown, on Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 7 to 9 p.m.
