U.S. Navy’s Commodores will give free concert Thursday

The Commodores, the U.S. Navy’s premier jazz ensemble, will give a free concert Thursday, Nov 5, at 7:30 p.m. at East Ridge Middle School

The band, sponsored by CHIRP, will be  performing its “big band” repertoire as well as original compositions.

The specialty unit of the U.S. Navy Band in Washington, D.C., features 18 musicians.

Free tickets may be obtained at Founders Hall, The Early Bird, Dimitri’s, Ancona’s, Webster Bank, Ridgefield Bank on Main Street or Danbury Road, and Squash’s.

After ticket holders are seated Thursday, non-ticket-holders will be admitted to any seats remaining.
