Six phone lines set up for H1N1 vaccine appointments; next clinic Nov. 21

Six phone lines will be set up to receive reservations for H1Ni vaccination appointments, starting Monday, Nov. 9, at 9 a.m., the first selectman's office reports.

An H1N1 clinic has been scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 21, from 10 to 1 at Ridgefield High School's student center.

"Residents making appointments are asked to allow approximately seven minutes to complete the reservation as there is a short questionnaire required as part of the process," said Wendy Gannon Lionetti, assistant to First Selectman Rudy Marconi.

The following are the lines available: 431-2567, 431-2350, 431-2351, 431-2352, 431-2346, and 431-2347.

The criteria are dictated by the Center for Disease Control, noted Ms. Lionetti.

Volunteers from the town's CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) have been asked to help with manning the phone lines next week.
