Geoffrey Kean, a former BBC correspondent and playwright who became an adviser to fidelity funds, died on Jan. 26 at his home on North Salem Road after a short illness. He was 90 years old.

John H. Davis, an author and former Ridgefielder who wrote about his family, the Bouviers and the Kennedys, as well as about organized crime and its connection to the John F. Kennedy’s assassination, died Sunday, Jan. 29, at his apartment in New York City.

   

Lorna O'Donnell, 96, supporter of traditional Catholic church

Lorna O’Donnell of Ridgefield, who had lived on four continents and had been an active supporter of the traditional Catholic church and its schools, died on Sunday, Jan. 29, at Laurel Ridge Health Care Center. She was 96 years old.

Walter Hrozenchik, who had been a leader in peace and environmental movements in Ridgefield and the region, died at Laurel Ridge Health Care Center on Sunday, Jan. 29. He was 80 years old and had lived for many years at 289 Old Stagecoach Road.
