Football: Tigers manhandle McMahon, 42-6

For the second straight week, the Ridgefield High football team beat a Norwalk opponent 42-6.

A week after defeating Norwalk High by that score, the Tigers routed visiting Brien McMahon, 42-6, on Friday night at Tiger Hollow.

Ridgefield impoved to 6-1 with its fourth consecutive victory.

Drew Arcoleo scored on two touchdown runs as RHS took a 14-0 lead after one quarter. DeVaghn Millington then added a touchdown run in the second quarter to make it 21-0 at the half.

Touchdown runs by quarterback Griff McCarty and Kevin Walters increased Ridgefield's lead to 35-0 before McMahon got its only touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Ridgefield then ended the scoring when reserve quarterback Jack Heller connected with Chris O'Dea on a 62-yard pass play.
