The Ridgefield High football team recovered from a 7-0 halftime deficit to defeat host Trumbull, 21-7, on Friday night.
It was the fifth straight victory for the Tigers, who improved to 7-1.
Drew Arcoleo scored on a 13-yard run in the third quarter to tie the game at 7-7. Charlie Gravitte then got the go-ahead touchdown on a 21-yard run, making it 14-7.Arcoleo added a 44-yard touchdown run with just over two minutes to play.
Trumbull's last possession ended when Griff McCarty intercepted a pass with 55 seconds to play.
Bo McCarty led the defensive effort for Ridgefield with 11 tackles.
