Polls are open today, Tuesday, Aug. 10, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Weston Intermediate School for the Democratic and Republican primary elections to see who will be each party's candidates in November.
Republicans will be choosing between Tom Foley, Michael Fedele and Oz Griebel for governor; Mark Boughton and Lisa Wilson-Foley for lieutenant governor; Linda McMahon, Peter Schiff, and Rob Simmons for U.S. Senator; Dan Debicella, Rob Merkle, and Rick Torres for U.S. Representative; and Martha Dean and Ross Garber for attorney general.
Democrats will be choosing between Dan Malloy and Ned Lamont for governor; Nancy Wyman and Mary Messina Glassman for lieutenant governor; Dennise Merrill and Gerry Garcia for secretary of the state; and Kevin Lembo and Michael Jarjura for comproller.
