ONLINE UPDATE: Westport Weston Health District cancels flu clinics

ONLINE UPDATE: Mark A.R. Cooper, director of health for the Westport Weston Health District (WWHD), announced Friday that due to an overwhelming turnout by the public at the health district's Oct. 29 seasonal flu clinic, the WWHD has insufficient inventory of seasonal flu vaccine to hold the clinics that had been scheduled for Monday, Nov. 2, and Tuesday Nov. 3. Therefore, both seasonal flu clinics have been canceled until further notice.

The WWHD will continue to provide updates and recommendations as it monitors the availability of seasonal flu vaccine this flu season. For current and more information on the seasonal flu, as well at the H1N1 (swine) flu, please visit the Health District’s web page at www.WWHD.org.
