Samuel Charles Goldstein died Nov. 25, 2011, in Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Boca Raton, Fla., a few weeks short of his 90th birthday.

His wife, Miriam Goldstein, best known as Micki, died six days later, Dec. 1, 2011, at the Wellington Community Medical Center, in West Palm Beach, Fla. She was 85.

They were the parents of Francine Goldstein of Weston.

Lois L. Hutzler, a summer resident of Weston who dedicated much of her life to volunteerism, died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011. She was 75. She had spent Christmas with her family and friends, falling ill the following evening.

Born Barbara Herta Kletzsch in Hollywood, Calif., on Oct. 3, 1928, Bobbie Friedman died Dec. 19, 2011, at home with family and friends in Westport, after years of battling dementia. She was 83.

"Everyone who came into contact with her felt her loving, vivacious and creative personality. They all loved her, and she loved everybody. She will be deeply missed," her family said.
