The Weston Storm under-13 boys soccer team travelled to Fairfield on Sunday and came home with a 6-1 win. Jordan Ellis-Sayegh and Micah Zirn had two goals each for the Storm.
Weston went up 3-0 at halftime on the back of assists from midfielder Sam Bieler and Zach Karpenand another from defender Justin Babson-Smith. Weston doubled up in the second half after Jack Bradley fed Micah, Josh Valentine assisted Dale Braverman and then Andrew Braverman fed Valentine for Weston’s 6th goal.
Dylan Weiss held Fairfield to a shutout in goal and Zach Karpen relieved him for the final 12 minutes. Matt German, Russell Phillips and Brian Babyak played well in the middle for Weston. Schuyler Debarger, Max Messulem and Will Steinharter did likewise on defense. The Storm improve its record to 4-1.
