Winter storm bears down on Trumbull

The National Weather Service has upgraded its forecast to a winter storm warning for Trumbull and the rest of Fairfield and New Haven Counties, predicting significant snowfall, gale force winds and near winter conditions throughout Wednesday.

Snow is predicted to begin falling late Tuesday and become heavy during Wednesday, tapering off Wednesday night and ending early Thursday morning.
