My name is Mary Arbisi and I am running for the office of Republican registrar. I have been a Wilton resident for 16 years, and a proud mother of two boys. The first organization my husband and I joined was the Republican Town Committee. I have been an active member in this community, participating in the Newcomers club, Wilton youth sports, Wilton schools and work for Wilton Parks and Recreation preschool program.
Recently, the RTC nominated and endorsed me for the registrar position. My background has prepared me for the responsibilities the registrar position demands. I have 20 years retail career experience where I have gained extensive training in customer service, management, and financial reporting. I am a member of the Republican Women of Wilton and have served as ballot clerk, voting machine tester and poll worker.
I am comfortable being in the public eye, engage in many social events in our community and always lend a hand however I can. I am a very hard worker with a high level of energy and an unending interest in acquiring new skills. I look forward to serving my community in a new capacity and diligently strive to meet all expectations the town has for this position by welcoming new members to town and registering them to vote.
Toni Boucher, Hal Clark and Susan Bruschi endorse me. I am asking you to endorse me as well in the primary on Aug. 10.
