Wilton firefighters offer treats on Halloween and wish happy and safe holiday

On Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31, Wilton firefighters will be handing out candy at both fire stations. All trick or treaters are welcome to stop by: Fire Headquarters, 236 Danbury Road (next to Town Hall) or Fire Station 2, 707 Ridgefield Road (near the intersection of Vista Road).

Parents are reminded to:

  • Make sure you or a responsible party escorts your children trick or treating.
  • Have a flashlight for every member of your group.
  • Wear reflective or light colored materials when possible.
  • Dress children appropriately for the weather.
  • Inspect all candy and goodies prior to allowing children to eat them.

The firefighters would also like to remind motorists to please use extra care when driving and be on the look out for ghost and goblins.
Have a happy and safe Halloween, declares the Wilton Firefighters Union Local 2233.
