Wilton's Republicans won the only contested race in this year's election.
Republican newcomer candidate Gail Lavielle, along with incumbents Warren Serenbetz (Republican) and Andy Pforzheimer (Democrat), will be seated to four-year terms on the Board of Finance next month.
According to Tina Gardner, registrar of voters, Ms. Lavielle took home the most votes out of all four candidates, with 2,703. Mr. Serenbetz, current board chairman, had 2,466 votes and Mr. Pforzheimer finished third with 2,313. Chris Stroup, an unaffiliated voter who was endorsed by the Democrats, earned 2,210 votes.
Ms. Gardner said that 4,324 Wiltonians cast votes, or 38.4% of the 11,244 elegible voters.
