Ann M. Stark, 92, resident for 65 years

Ann M.  Stark, a resident of Wilton for 65 years, died on Friday, Oct. 30, at her home. She was 92.

Born in Easton, on Dec. 22, 1916, to the late Andrew and Maria Mlinar, she was the fifth of eight children, six of whom predeceased her. She is survived by her brother, Carl Mlinar, former town hall clerk of Easton and uncle to her children and their nieces and nephews.

She married the late Hans Stark in 1944 and was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, her family said. She enjoyed reading, classical music, antiques, cooking and gardening. She was unselfish in her care of all of those who surrounded her, her family said.

She is also survived by her son Karl Stark and his wife Patricia of Charlottesville, Va., daughter Diane Stark and son Andrew Stark of Wilton, grandsons Peter Stark of San Francisco, Calif., Christian Stark, his wife Jen and their children Julian and Ivy of Geyserville, Calif., and Alexandra Stark of Virginia, mother to Peter and Christian.
