Judith 'Judy' Bates McKail, 75

Judith “Judy” Bates McKail of Wilton died on Sunday, Nov. 1, in her home while surrounded by her family. She was 75.

Mrs. McKail was the daughter of the late John S. III and Evelyn Mae (Rowe) Bates. She was a model of selflessness, determination, and integrity, her family said.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph McKail; her son, Jon McKail; her daughter, Lt. Col. Jennifer Fullmer; two sisters, Joy Thomas and Jean Olsen; one brother, John W. Bates; along with many nieces and nephews and extended family.

Honoring her request, the family will hold a private burial.

Arrangements are being handled by Norwalk’s Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory.
