State playoff pairings announced for boys soccer, girls soccer, field hockey

Pairings have been announced for the C.I.A.C. field hockey, boys soccer and girls soccer tournaments.

The Wilton High girls soccer team opens the Class L playoffs on Monday. The Warriors (5-6-4) are seeded 25th and will play at eighth-seeded Avon (12-3-1) at 2.

The boys soccer and field hockey teams both open the state tourney on Tuesday at New Fairfield.

The WHS field hockey team is the ninth seed in the Class M tournament at 10-3-1-0, and plays eighth-seeded New Fairfield (10-1-1-4) at 4:30.

The Wilton boys soccer team (4-7-4) is seeded 26th in the Class L tourney and plays seventh-seeded New Fairfield (11-4-1) at 4:30.
