Unbeaten Staples jumped out to a 24-0 lead after one quarter and went on to defeat the Wilton High football team, 37-6, on Saturday afternoon in Westport.
It was the second straight loss for the Warriors, who fell to 2-6.
The Wreckers (8-0) led 31-0 at halftime and then scored the first touchdown of the second half to go ahead 37-0.Wilton's only points came on Alex Hayes's one-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Wilton's leading receiver, Matt Reyes-Guerra-Dunn, left the game with an injury and did not return.
