Neuberger Museum

The Neuberger Museum of Art, right across the street from the Donald M. Kendall Sculpture Gardens at the world headquarters of PepsiCo, is the eighth largest university museum in the country. The modern building, designed by the firm of Philip Johnson and John Burgee, includes six viewing galleries, an indoor/oudoor a la cARTe Café, a museum store and exterior sculpture courts. The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday, 12 to 5. The museum has the only permanent collection of African art in Westchester County as well as modern and ancient art from the Roy R. Neuberger Collection. Special exhibits this spring include: Fugitive Artist: The Early Work of Richard Prince and Lesley Dill: Tremendous World. Long-term exhibits include African Art from the Permanent Collection and Reframing American Art: Selections from the Roy R. Neuberger Collection, 1907-1980. Admission is $5; $3 for seniors, students; free for those 12 and under. Admission is also free to all on the first Saturday of the month.
