News submission guidelines
News submissions to the Greenwich Post must be received by 5 p.m. Thursday one week in advance of the edition in which you’d like your news to appear.

We prefer to receive press releases about events happening in town at least two to three weeks in advance in order to include them in our Postings calendar.

Birth, engagement and wedding announcements are also accepted until 5 p.m. Thursdays and are printed free.

Letters to the editor are accepted until 5 p.m. Mondays. They must be double-spaced and typed, or neatly printed, signed and include an address and daytime phone number. Letters should be no more than 500 words. Letters that are libelous or in poor taste will not be printed.

Obituaries are printed free and accepted until press time.

We prefer to receive all correspondence by e-mail to editor@greenwich-post.com. If e-mail is not available, please fax to: 861-0023 or mail to: 22 West Putnam Ave., Suite 18, Greenwich CT 06830.

Photos are also welcome. Digital files are preferred as jpegs. Hard copies may also be dropped off or mailed to our office and will be returned if a self-addressed stamped envelope is provided.

How to write a press release
News of community organizations and businesses is a major part of our newspaper, and we welcome news releases about the activities of clubs, associations, committees, students, agencies, professionals, stores, offices and industries. To make the job easier for both you and us, we offer these suggestions on preparing stories for the paper.
