Learn about non-verbal communication

The Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management will hold a meeting entiteld “Non-Verbal Communication: The Hidden Message” on Tuesday, May 13, at Giovanni’s - The Water’s Edge, 2478 Post Road, Darien.
Bill Acheson will speak about how to observe people’s use of time, space, appearance posture, gesture, voice, facial expression, eye contact, touch, silence and smell to communicate both conscious and subconscious messages.
Registration and networking will be at 11:30, and lunch and the presentation will be at noon.
The cost is $30 for members, $48 for non-members, and $15 for students.
