Wright, Knapp, Hohs and Skobrev set the pace at Loucks race
Foursome set new school record at prestigious event

Three Blue Wave boys track distance medley relay teams, the 1200, 400, 800 and 1600, competed in the prestigious Loucks Games Thursday in White Plains, N.Y.
In the first race of the day the team comprised of all juniors, James Carroll, Alexi Bello, Garrett Loeffelman and Peter Watson, placed eighth in the Varsity DMR race with a time of 11:15.59. All four runners ran season-best times in the event.
The second race of the day was the East Coast Invitational DMR where Darien qualified by running 10:43 during the indoor season.
Placing 12th was Douglas Wright, Kevin Knapp, Logan Hohs and Artem Skobrev in 10:39.04, setting the school record in the event.
The previous record was set five years earlier at the same meet when James Wyper, Matt Rogers, Felipe Couto and Chase Pizzonia ran it in 10:49.85.
In the final event, the Freshmen-Sophomore DMR, the team of John Conley, Charlie Lacy, Alex Reynoso and Jake McCauley ran 11:44.04 and placed 13th.
