Darien flu immunization schedule

The Darien Health Department will hold the first flu clinic of the season at Palmer's Market, located on Heights Road in Noroton on Saturday, Oct. 20 from 10 to noon. This clinic is for ages four years and older. The fee is $30 per shot. Cash, check and Medicare Part B will be accepted.
In partnership with the Health Department, Nursing and Homecare will provide flu immunizations for ages three years and older for a fee of $35. For a $50 fee, pneumonia vaccine will be available for adults 65 and older who have not previously received the vaccine. Cash, check, Medicare Part B and Anthem BC/BS will be accepted.
Town Hall clinics located in the gym:
• Oct. 26, 9 a.m. to noon
• Oct. 30, 2 to 5 p.m.
Darien Senior Center clinic:
• Oct. 30, 9 a.m. to noon
In partnership with the Health Department, Stamford Hospital will offer the following flu immunization clinics for ages six months and older for a fee of $30. Cash, check and Medicare Part B will be accepted.
Town Hall clinics located in the Gym:
• Nov. 8, 6 to 9 p.m.
• Nov. 9, 8 am. to 2 p.m.
• Nov. 10, 8 a.m. to noon
Health information about seasonal/pandemic flu and emergency preparedness will be distributed at all flu clinics by the Health Department and Red Cross. For more information, call 656-7322.
