Sport Shop, Vineyard Vines feature Seersucker Saturday
|
The Darien Sport Shop and Vineyard Vines will host Seersucker Saturday on Saturday, March 29, from 10 to 4, at the store, located at 1127 Post Road.
Representatives from Vineyard Vines, founded by Shep and Ian Murray of Greenwich, will be on hand to showcase the latest Vineyard-inspired styles and trends of the line.
Seersucker ties, shorts, blazers, shirts and other items will be available in the store’s men’s, women’s and children’s departments.
Children and parents will be able to visit the Vineyard Vines van and ten, which will be set up outside the store, and shop for free giveaways of pink foam whale hats and balloons. Vineyard Vines will also complement every purchase with a gift such as pint glasses, key chains or cozies. Guests will also be able to enjoy pink whale cookies provided by Patricia Blake Catering and healthful “Seersucker Citrus Stinger” drinks, courtesy of Robeks Juce at 883 Post Road.
The Darien Sport Shop will donate 10 percent of the day’s Vineyard Vines sales to the Tiny Miracles Foundation Inc., which provides support, information, services and supplies to the families of premature infants.
