The Noroton Gallery in Darien is showing a newly installed spring collection of local landscapes, still lifes and maritime subjects just in time for Mother's Day. Noroton Gallery is at 1977 Post Road and is open 10 to 5 Tuesday through Saturday.
• TOPS holds Hindley Fair Night
The Teen Options Program (TOPS) will hold Hindley Fair Night on Friday, May 9, from 5 to 6:30 for sixth graders, and 7:30 to 9 for seventh and eighth graders.
The cost is $10 for pay-per-event TOPS members; no admission for already-paid members. Extra money may be brought for fair games and concessions. TOPS events are for registered members only. There will be no reservations accepted.
Car-pooling is encouraged. For pick-up, parents should park at the Noroton Presbyterian parking lot or at the St. John’s Church parking lot and walk over to get their child; no child will be released without a parent. There will be no parking at Hindley School.
In the event of inclement weather, a cancellation will be made by 2 that day and announced at Middlesex Middle School and posted on the Youth Commission Web site. For more information, call 656-7326.
