Serafina “Nella” Bellantoni

Serafina “Nella” Bellantoni of Greenwich died Monday, May 5. She was 60 years old.

Born April 16, 1948, in Giovinazzo, Italy, Ms. Bellantoni was the daughter of the late Francesco and Rosa Sette Palermo. She immigrated to the United States at the age of 21.

Ms. Bellantoni worked for Citicorp for 18 years as a supervisor and also worked for Bloomingdale’s as a sales manager. She enjoyed designing clothes of her own and for others, family members said.

Ms. Bellantoni is survived by her husband, Antonio; a sister, Giovanna Messina, and her husband, Angelo, of Queens, N.Y.; a brother-in-law, Gaetano Bellantoni of New Rochelle, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave. in Greenwich. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 tomorrow at St. Roch R.C. Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Greenwich.
