Greenwich Flag Football League week 5 Wrap-up

Pee-Wee Division
Nearing mid-season, two teams secured their first victories. The Patriots (1-4) defeated the Giants, 20-0, as Slater Jones threw touchdown passes to Sam Nance and Brendan Santini, then caught a TD toss from Jack Kerwin. The Dolphins (1-3) cracked the win column, 26-12 over the Chargers, on two touchdowns by Marco Pastore and one score apiece by Trystan Sarcone and Adam Pate.

The Bengals (3-1) shut out the Packers, 13-0, behind Scooter Harrington's two touchdown passes, one to Alex Tannenbaum, the other to Jared Boothe.

Junior Division
The Saints (4-1) rallied from a 12-0 halftime deficit to knock off the previously unbeaten Chiefs, 26-20 in overtime. After Rory Plunkett blunted the Chiefs' overtime possession with a pass deflection, the Saints won on a touchdown throw from Domenic Colasacco to Austin Longi.

Led by Robert Breck's defense and Pete Wilson's three touchdowns, the Cowboys (3-2) defeated the Vikings, 26-20.

Senior Division
Tim Swaby caught two touchdown passes and Alejandro Rodriguez hauled in a 60-yard bomb as the Saints (3-1) stopped the Jets, 26-18. Saints' cornerback Colin Capparelle sealed the victory with a juggling interception and return for touchdown in the final minutes.

The Bears (2-2) nipped the previously undefeated Cowboys, 28-27, powered by Kyle Avery's three touchdowns.
