Milford International’s All Star team found out what ever other squad competing for the 11-12 District IV softball title soon discovered — North Branford is loaded. Milford, managed by Maureen Sollitto and coached by Paul Amann and Gary Parsons, took on the T-Birds in the second round of the tournament at Officer Robert F. Stanyke Memorial Field in Orange on Friday night. North Branford, coming off an 11-4 victory over defending champion Orange, scored in every inning and took a 13-2 decision despite the pitching of Victoria Haba and Emily Romero and stellar defense led by Kristen Chacho. |
