Motorcyclist in critical condition at Bridgeport Hospital

A Monroe resident was critically injured late Tuesday night, after loosing control of his motorcycle on Wild Horse Court.

Christopher Caron, 50, of Wild Horse Court, suffered a head injury in the accident. According to police, Caron was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

Caron was traveling south on Wild Horse Court, police said, when he struck the curb on the left side of the road. He then traveled across the roadway and struck the curb along the right shoulder of the road. He lost control of the motorcycle and was thrown from the bike.

He was transported to Bridgeport Hospital where he was listed in critical condition. The accident is under investigation by the Monroe Police Department.
