‘An Inspector Calls’

The Town Players of New Canaan present J. B. Priestley’s drama “An Inspector Calls,” at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, May 2-3, 9-10 and 16-17, with matinees at 2:30 p.m. Sundays, May 4 and 11, at the Powerhouse Performing Arts Center, Waveny Park. Tickets can be reserved by calling 966-7371.

It’s magic

The Society of Young Magicians, Bill Andrews Assembly #42, will hold its 20th annual magic show, “Future Stars of Magic,” Saturday, May 3, at Saxe Middle School. Doors open at 6 p.m., close-up starts at 6:30, the stage show starts at 7. Tickets can be purchased at sym42.com or at The Outback.

Derby Day

‘Spectrum’

“Spectrum,” the annual juried art exhibition sponsored by the New Canaan Society for the Arts, runs through June 15 at the Carriage Barn Arts Center in Waveny Park. Red Cross Gala

The New Canaan Chapter of the American Red Cross will hold its annual “Paint the Town Red” gala Saturday, May 31, at the Woodway Country Club. Pro Arte finale
