Holly Hoffman Gibson, 47, of St. Paul, Minn., wife of Terry Gibson, died suddenly Friday evening April 25, in St. Paul.
She was the daughter of the late Edwin F. Hoffman and Peggy Hoffman of Bellport, N.Y.
She is survived by her two children, Hunter Judson, a student at Kenyon College in Ohio, and Hope Judson, a student at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee, both residents of East Grand Rapids, Mich.; four Hoffman brothers: Ned of Wilton,, Tim of New York City and Bellport, and Jon and Derek, both of Bellport; four nieces, Jessica, Elizabeth, Angelina and Alexandra, and two nephews Bradley and Josie; and aunts Diane and Lisa Hoffman.
She grew up in New Canaan, graduated from New Canaan High School in 1978, then attended Ithaca College and LaSalle Junior College, from which she graduated, then worked in software sales and marketing.
“Her major passion was her two wonderful children, of whom she was indescribably proud, and throughout her life her four brothers,” her family wrote.
A friend described her as well liked, very skilled at painting and collage, spirited and a loving mother.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, at St. Aloysius Church, 40 Maple Street, 966-0020.
