William Power

William Power, 58, of New Canaan, died April 27 at Norwalk Hospital.

A New York native, Mr. Power spent his whole life as an audio engineer, including more than 22 years for ABC-TV and the last six years for the YES Network, before his hospitalization.

He was the son of the late William and Joann Power and nephew of the late Margaret Tunney.

He is survived by his wife Jan Power of New Canaan; daughter, Noelle, and twin sons, William and Michael Power. A sister, Elizabeth Kabak also survives.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, at St. Aloysius Church, 21 Cherry Street.

Interment will be in Kentucky at a later date.

Friends may call at the Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 29.

The family will establish a trust fund honoring Mr. Power in the name of his three children. Donations may be made in the form of a check payable to Jan Power.
