A reminder that letters to the editor are limited to 350 words to allow more writers to express their opinions in the New Canaan Advertiser. Columns submitted are held to a 650-word limit.
Longer letters and columns submitted before the policy went into effect will be published. After than, the new policy will be strictly adhered to.
Letters must reach the Advertiser by 5 p.m. the Monday before desired publication, though that does not guarantee space. All letters must include the writer’s name, address and phone number (not for publication), and not be libelous or in poor taste. Letters exceeding 350 words will be returned to the writer for revision.
