Outback hosts Hoops Wednesday

The Outback will host its own version of March Madness Wednesday, March 26, at New Canaan High School, pitting two teams of faculty members against one another to raise money for the teen center. Doors will open at 6 p.m., tip-off is at 7:15.
The Student Governing Board will work throughout the evening selling raffle tickets, T-shirts, refreshments and helping the event run as smoothly as possible. Throughout the year, the Student Governing Board is active in managing the facility as well as programming, community outreach and fundraising.
Karl Chevrolet Hummer will again hold the Chevy Shootout at halftime, giving a lucky fan the chance to win a new car.
WFAN’s Chris “Mad Dog” Russo will make a special guest appearance.
Tickets ($10) can be purchased at Bob’s Sports, M Milestones, the New Canaan Toy Store and Athletic Shoe Factory as well as Saxe Middle School and the high school. The snow date is April 3.
