William Imbimbo, fisherman

William T. Imbimbo of Redding died Saturday, April 26, 2008 in his residence with his family by his side. Mr. Imbimbo, 79, was the husband of the late Evelyn Hedberg Imbimbo.
He was born in Bridgeport and was a lifelong area resident. A retired employee of the former Producto Machine Co., Bridgeport, he was an avid fly fisherman and loved the outdoors, his family said.
He is survived by his daughter Mary Traggianese and her husband Ray of Easton; three other daughters, Karen Imbimbo of St. Petersburg, Fla., Susan Imbimbo of Redding and Sally Imbimbo of Amherst Mass.; and three grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew and Emma Traggianese.
In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a daughter, Elaine Imbimbo.
The funeral was held Tuesday in St. Patrick Roman Catholic, Redding. Burial was in Redding Ridge Cemetery.
The Larson Funeral Home, Bridgeport, handled arrangements.
