Arlene “Dee Dee” Salvador of Long Beach, Long Island N.Y., a marketing director who was a Ridgefield High School graduate, died Friday, April 25, at the North Shore Medical Center in Manhasset, Long Island. She was 46 years old.
Born April 28, 1961 in Englewood, N.J., she was a daughter of Richard Devine of Sammamish, Wash., and Linda Freet Lang of Falmouth, Mass.
She was a 1979 graduate of Ridgefield High School.
Ms. Salvador was marketing director for Computer Associates, the software manufacturer, in Hauppauge, Long Island.
In her spare time, Ms. Salvador enjoyed the outdoors, including the beach, mountain biking, skiing or golfing.
She is survived by her mother, Linda, and her husband, William Lang; her father, Richard and wife, Nancy Devine; her 101-year-old grandmother, Mary Devine of Sammamish, Wash.; two sisters, Patti Devine of Bellport, Long Island, and Wendy and husband, Paul Canale of Bethel; three brothers and their spouses, Russell and Brenda Salvador of Marlborough, Richard and AnnMarie Devine of Kent, Wash., and Jeffrey and Laurel Devine of Hackettstown, N.J.
Her adoptive father, Dino Salvador, died in 1990.
Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Road, Colchester, Conn.
Father Michael S. Smith will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, at 11 a.m., the Church of the Holy Family, 185 Church St., (Route 85), Hebron.
Burial will follow in the Marlborough Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the New York Organ Donor Network, 132 W 31st St., 11th Fl., New York, NY 10001-3406.
